Murphy's law really proved its worth on Friday...and I'm not talking about complimentary peanuts that go "hey you look good tonight"
showed up at 6 for a sound check and fit that never happened.
started the first set at 9 and it went so bad they had to call up the resident DJ took over earlier and we didn't get to play our second set.
well here goes the thanking that usually follows an award...but nonetheless... my dreams of winning a grammy are shatterred anyway...
babe...thanks for all the support and for being there standing by me through my embarrassment..and for still believing i could pull it off...
guys we did the best we could...thanks for staying calm throughout and for being able to laugh off the entire evening's events....let's keep trying and we will get there someday..the enthusiasm you'll showed was priceless...
karen and meghs...thanks for askin how the evenin went and for sayin..yea...it was truly a one night only show...this is for sure...lol..and for the prayers the night before..
for everyone who was present that night....thanks for not booing us off the stage and for the encouragement you'll showed us... and to the gentleman that shouted "why am i payin to listen to this"..."sir you paid for the drinks...we were complimentary..and if you didn't enjoy it...you can kiss my glass...in fact kiss your own glass"
